About Smoomees

My name is Janna, and I am the founder of Smoomees. After struggling for many years to find arch support footwear suitable for wearing at home, I realised there was a whole community of people facing the same challenge. Together with designers, podiatrists and footwear specialists, we set out to create supportive slippers that combined the cosy feeling everyone loves with the structure and alignment your feet actually need.

Today, we are proud to bring you Smoomees, thoughtfully engineered arch support slippers designed to support you from the ground up and redefine what everyday comfort can feel like at home.

Our Mission

Our mission was simple: to redefine the humble house slipper for both men and women by creating footwear that promotes alignment, stability and lasting comfort. We wanted to design orthotic-inspired slippers that truly care for your feet, helping you feel supported whether you are starting your day, staying active around the home, or winding down in the evening.

Design Philosophy

At Smoomees, we believe comfort should never be an afterthought, especially in the spaces where you spend the most time.

We design with intention, beginning at the foundation. Every detail serves a purpose: to support, to stabilise, and to move naturally with your feet. From our flexible EVA midsole to our structured heel counter and removable arch support insole, each element works together to provide cushioning without compromise and structure without restriction.

As modern life sees us spending more time on hard surfaces, our feet need more than softness alone. They need thoughtful support. That’s why we focus on intelligent design rather than excess padding. Our supportive house shoes are created to help reduce strain from overpronation, ease discomfort associated with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, and encourage better foot alignment throughout the day.
