FAQs

  • You will need a paper, pencil, ruler and bare feet.

    • Place a piece of paper on the floor with one end against the wall. Position your foot on it, with your heel against the vertical wall.
    • Ensuring your feet are evenly distributed, mark the paper at the end of your longest toe.
    • Remove your foot and measure with a ruler in CM the distance between the toe mark and the wall.
    • Refer to the table of measurements and select the nearest whole number going up a size.

  • What you will need to clean your slippers:

    • Mild detergent or clothing safe soap.
    • A soft scrubbing brush or toothbrush.
    • A sponge.
    • Paper towels.
    • A bucket of warm water.

    How to clean your smoomees:

    1. Start off by taking out your insoles.
    2. Fill a bucket or bowl of warm water and add 15 - 30mm of mild clothing detergent.
    3. For the bottom of the slippers remove any dirt with a paper towel and then use a soft scrubbing brush or toothbrush dipped in warm soapy water to clean the bottom of the slippers.
    4. For the insoles gently scrub the surface thoroughly with a toothbrush or soft scrubbing brush, brushing the fur evenly. Then take a damp cloth or sponge and wipe the underside of the insoles if required. Dont soak the insoles or you can risk damaging the EVA and its shape. Leave out to air dry.
    5. For the fur lining on the inside of the shoe excluding the removable insole use the same technique with a toothbrush or soft scrubbing brush.
    6. The next job is to clean the uppers of your shoes. The upper is the part of the shoe that wraps your foot. Use a wet soapy sponge and scrub in a circular motion over the boucle and the suede. They can handle handwashing but do not submerge in water. We advise you to use clothing safe mild detergent only.
    7. Once all parts of your shoe have been cleaned, let them air dry in a cool space with paper towel stuffed inside. This will help absorb moisture and maintain the shape of your shoe as they dry. Once the shoe and the insole are dry simply place the insoles back in the shoe and continue to enjoy the coziness.
